Helpful platform

TrueCar gave me a baseline price for car, and I liked the idea of transparency. That said, once I got to the dealership, the numbers changed. There were add-ons, taxes, dealer fees, and so on that weren’t mentioned in the quote. I also got contacted by several dealers immediately after submitting a request, which was overwhelming

Easy to compare prices

Easy to compare prices and get a rough idea of car costs. Helpful for research. But some info isn't accurate, and dealers don’t always match the prices. Still need to negotiate.
