Very competitive and high fees on gigs

I really like the website, it has a good reputation with plenty of job offers added every minute, but very competitive and a battle to get your first client. It has many downsides; it is very competitive for new users to gain clients and offers, and requires higher fees to be verified even before making your first dollar. Also not forget, they take almost half of what your client will pay for small jobs ( if you get 10$ job, they will charge 5$). I hope they will lower fees and support new joiners to kick-start. Customer support is excellent and around the clock.

Yes, I share the same downsides. Fees are extremely high and its hard to start your first task...

legit but with high fees

you can find really good freelancers here but the fees are extremely high - 3.6% for every transaction...imo this is too much for a commission
