I asked Acorn Finance for a loan because I wanted to fix the roof of my house - the process started easily: an online form, a few questions, and choosing an offer. I liked that there were several offers at once and I received support over the phone with explanations of the terms and conditions. However, when I got to the final step, there was a surprise: a processing fee that I hadn't noticed at the beginning, which was my mistake
