You can find unique cars at competitive prices, and the process is straightforward. However, not all hosts are created equal, and I’ve had some communication issues with owners that made the experience stressful. Turo also has some insurance options that can be confusing, and the app can feel a little clunky at times. Still, I’d recommend it if you’re open to a more personalized rental experience just be prepared for a few bumps along the way.

We booked a lovely and very comfortable toyota, they brought it to us on the spot and our trip was great. The website is handy, there is a process with a few questions before being approved, but it's kind of standard and nothing special.
Used Turo for a quick trip to LA 🚗☀️. Way easier than a regular rental - picked the car I liked and the host was super chill. Drove around the city no problem. Just double-check pickup times so you're not rushing like I was lol.
